Biography
Michael N. Carter began practicing law with Spence, Carter & Reed, P.A. in 2019. During this time, he has handled a wide variety of matters due to the firm being a general practice firm. He regularly handles real estate matters (residential and commercial transactions and litigation), civil litigation, business formation and transactions, family law matters (domestic violence, no contact, divorces), estate planning, and local government matters. More likely than not at some point during your time working with Spence, Carter & Reed, P.A., Michael will somehow be involved in your matter.
Mr. Carter enjoys working with his clients to help them solve any problem they may be facing and bringing closure to matters that clients have not been able to finish on their own. Not all matters can be solved quickly, but he as well as staff will help you through whatever legal matter you are handling to find a resolution.
Mr. Carter attended North Johnston High School where he graduated with high honors, earned his B.S. degree in Biology from East Carolina University, and his J.D. degree from North Carolina Central University where he graduated cum laude.
